| molecularNote | Murine BAC clone RP23-446B12 was modified by the insertion of EGFP cDNA and a floxed neomycin resistance cassette after a translation initiation codon in exon 1. The 8 kb homologous recombination targeting vector was then recovered from the modified BAC and used to generate this allele. The selection cassette was then excised by transient cre expression. GFP expression was detected in thymic stromal cells. |
