molecularNote  An EGFP gene, with a three glycine codon (GGA GGT GGA) linker to created a fusion, was inserted into exon 1 between nucleotides 3424 and 3425 (GenBank Accession NO. AF019074.1). A floxed hygromycin and kanamycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of exon 1. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette.
