molecularNote  Lysine codon 702 (AAG) in exon 18 was changed to tryptophan (TGG) (p.K702W) and an FRT site flanked puromycin resistance gene cassette was inserted into intron 17. The puro cassette was removed through subsequent Flp-mediated recombination. This mutation is located in the C2B domain of the encoded polypeptide and enhances Ca2+-dependent phospholipid binding by the C2B domain without changing the Ca2+ affinity.
