molecularNote  The following elements were inserted into an intron: the CAG promoter, a conditional STOP cassette (loxP site flanked cassette consisting of PGK promoter, neomycin resistance gene, PGK and 3x SV40 p(A) signal sequences), followed by human PRKAR1A cDNA (variant ENST00000586397) where exon 6 was deleted, an FRT site, IRES sequence, the EGFP reporter gene, a second FRT site, and bovine GH poly(A) signal sequence. This allele only expresses PRKAR1A and EGFP after Cre-mediated removal of the stop cassette.
