| abstractText | Gene Trap sequences are mined periodically from the dbGSS division of GenBank and compared, based on their respective genome coordinate locations when BLATed against BUILD 36 of the Mouse Genome Assembly, to locations of the representative transcripts of MGI genome features: genes, pseudogenes, miroRNA, and unassociated Gene Model transcripts. Gene trap sequences that do not overlap any of these feature types in MGI, and those that overlap multiples of these same genome feature types will be reported separately on our ftp site.
