abstractText  Protein phosphatase 2C (PP2C) is one of four major classes of protein serine/threonine phosphatase and is considered to have a role in signal transduction of stress responses. It has two isotypes, alpha and beta, encoded by different genes. In this study, the mouse PP2C beta gene was mapped by in situ hybridization to chromosome 17E 4-5.
