| abstractText | In this issue of Cancer Discovery, Zou and colleagues describe a mechanism involving cellular transdifferentiation that promotes exceptional resistance to antiandrogen therapy in prostate cancer. A background of coinactivation of Trp53 and Pten increased the frequency of the transdifferentiated neuroendocrine phenotype.
