| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: A series (11) of recombinant inbred strains between AKR/FuRdA and 020/A mouse strains are maintained at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. The 30th inbred generation is reached with 11 independant F2 derived RI strains between the AKR strain, a high leukemia strain known to contain 6 endogenous murine ecotropic leukemia virus genes, and the 020 strain, a low leukemia strain, but with a high incidence of lung cancer and an unusual type of mammary cancer in breeding females. Dr. J. Hilgers developed these lines, as reported in MNL 74 (1986) pg. 82. The SD patterns are shown in table 1. We have the intention to terminate the breeding of the OXA RI lines.
