| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage. a) An electrophoretic variant of serum albumin, ALB-B in wild mice was obtained from Dr. Michael Petras, Windsor University, Windsor, Ontario. We examined 100 backcross progeny segregating for Alb-1, le, rd and Gus from the cross of (ALB-B stock x C57BL/6 le rd Gus-h) F-1 x C57BL/6 le rd Gus-h. We observed a gene order and map distances of Alb-1--7.5--le rd--29.0--Gus. No recombinants between rd and le were observed. (Chapman, Noell and Adler). |
