| abstractText | MGI obtains mouse cDNA library and clone information from the I.M.A.G.E. Consortium (including the Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC)), the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the RIKEN Genome Exploration Research Group (FANTOM clones). The MGI cDNA Clone Load checks GenBank mouse EST records for I.M.A.G.E., NIA and FANTOM clones, and creates new MGI clone records for clones from these sets, or updates existing MGI clone records with new accession IDs for clones found in the GenBank records.
