| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Twenty four C57BL/6 congenic lines carrying various mutant marker genes affecting morphological and behavioral traits were skin graft tested against standard C57BL/6 strain mice. Seventeen lines were found not to be isohistogenic with C57BL/6. Linkages of the responsible histocompatibility (H) genes were thereby suggested and now have been substantiated in 8 cases by the usual test cross methods. H genes, temporarily symbolized by the nearby marker gene placed in parentheses, have been located as follows: H(ep), 16 + 5cM from ep; H(Eh), 0cM with upper 95% confidence limit of 19 cM from Eh; H(go), 5 + 3cM from go; H(js), 27 + 8cM from js; H(ln), 9 + 6cM from pi and may be same as H(go); H(tn), 30 + 8cM from tn and may be same as H(js). |
