| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Chylous ascites (Chy) on Chromosome 11. Chylous ascites (Chy) (MNL 71:26) is on chromosome 11, closely linked to vestigial tail, vt. Backcrosses of double heterozygotes for Chy and Re to wild-type have indicated about 28% recombination (R.F. 27.7 +/- 2.4%) Chy+/+Re: ChyRe: 33; Chy+: 64; +Re: 107; ++: 45. ChyRe/++: ChyRe: 38; Chy+: 6; +Re: 10; ++: 36 Backcross of Chy+/+vt to +vt/+vt have so far yielded 0 recombinants out of 18 young. Thus, the relative order of Chy, vt and Re is not yet known.
