| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkages: 8. The position of jackson shaker (js) has been located by a 3-point backcross with Es-3 and Re. The fraction of recombinants were: 1/30 between js and Es-3, 4/30 between Es-3 and Re, and 5/30 between js and Re. The gene order is therefore js - Es-3 - Re. Combining the above data with earlier data (MNL 46:31) gives recombination between js and Es-3 of 2/49 = 4.1%. Besides Es-3, js is the best marker on one end of linkage group VII. (Roderick) |
