| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Mouse Membrane Alloantigen News: H-2 Registry Bulletin No. 12. 5. The H-2L Locus. A new locus, H-2L, in the D region of the H-2 complex is defined by antibodies in anti-H-2.28 sera reactive specifically with 45.000 M.W. H-2 polypeptides not bearing the H-2D private specificity. The identity of the new polypeptide was established by capping and indirect immunoprecipitation. The new locus maps into the D region on the basis of the combinations used to make the anti-H-2.28 sera and on the basis of their reactivity with original and recombinant haplotypes. (C.
