| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: A study was made of the recombination of Ahd-4 and Ahd-6 genes, with Hba, previously mapped on chromosome 11, among BC progeny derived from (ddNxLIII) F1 x LIII mice. The following results were obtained for 80 BC progeny: Ahd-4 - Ahd-6, 7.5 +/- 2.9%; Ahd-4 - Hba, 21.3 +/- 4.6%; Ahd-6 - Hba, 13.8 +/- 3.9%. These suggest that Ahd-6 is localized between Ahd-4 and Hba on chromosome 11. (Rout and Holmes) |
