| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage Data: 9. Recessive spotting (rs) has shown no recombination with Wv in a backcross of Wv +I +rs x + rs/+ rs. Wv +I+ rs mice are black-eyed white and it is not known whether Wv rs/+ rs recombinants would be distinguishable from them, but there were no + +/+ rs (wild type) recombinants observed in 170 offspring. These results place rs in L.G. XVII very close to the W locus. (Southard and M.C.Green) |
