| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage data. 2. Linkaqe studies with T(6;13)6Ad. Linkage tests have been carried out on T(6B3;13D1)6Ad (Adler and Neuhauser-Klaus, MNL 77. 139-142, 1987) using the dominant chromosome 6 markers Lc and Mi<wh> which are located about 10 cM apart. Crosses of T6Ad + +/+ Lc Mi<wh> males and females with wild type produced progeny of the following phenotypic classes: 40 T6Ad, 33 Lc Mi<wh>, 2 T6Ad Lc Mi<wh>, 0 +, 7 T6Ad Mi<wh>, 6 Lc, 0 T6Ad Lc, 0 Mi<wh>, total 88. Thus the order is as shown with a R.F. of 2.3 +/- 1.6% between T6Ad and Lc thus placing T6Ad proximal to T7Ca on chromosome 6 in agreement with their respective giemsa banding breakpoints.
