| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage group XIX? Linkage tests still in progress indicate linkage between Steel (Sl) and dystrophia muscularis (dy). The following data were obtained from the cross Sl+/dy x ++/+dy. Sl+: 66; Sl dy: 10; ++: 35; +dy: 25; Recombination = 24.3 +/- 6.2% If further tests confirm the linkage, Sl and dy will probably form the basis for linkage group XIX, since each has been tested (with negative results) against marker genes on all chromosomes, excepting IV and XV.
