| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 3. Urinary protein (Mup-1). An extra, electrophoretically-slow protein band is found in deionized male urine samples from some M. m. poschiavinus-derived lines maintained by T.H. Roderick. In the backcross SEC/lReJ X (SEC/lReJ x Pos I)F1 one recombinant in 10 progeny was observed between b and the locus determining the very-slow band. Identity with or close linkage to Mup-1 is presumed. Mup-1 may be a duplicated structural and/or regulatory complex locus. (Whitney, J. B. and Roderick) |
