| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Position of scb on chr. 8. Linkage tests have shown that the mutant scabby (scb), characterised by skin and tail defects (MNL 57: 16) is on chromosome 8. Backcrosses of +scb+/Os+E<so> mice to scabby homozygotes have produced 31 scb, 31 Os E<so>, 7 Os scb, 6 E<so>, 8 Os and 4 +, total 89. Thus the order is as shown with an RF of 19.1 + 4.2% between Os and scb. (Beechey and Searle) |
