| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage Data: 1. Tail short (Ts) is linked to Rex (Re) on Chromosome 11 with about 5% recombination. Test crosses with female heterozygotes show 17 Ta +, 70 + Re, 10 ++ and 2 Ts Re offspring. Further crosses to determine position are in progress. (H.O. Sweet and Lane). 2. A three point coupling BC with bm abJ and ru on Chr 19 has given 192 bm abJ ru, 188 + + +, 17 bm + +, 23 + abJ ru, 2 bm abJ +, 2 + + ru, 0 bm + ru, 0 + abJ + in 424 offspring. This indicates the most probably order of the three loci and estimated distance is bm - 9 - abJ - 1 - ru. (H.O. Sweet and Lane). |
