| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Linkage data: 2. Location of Hq. Repulsion heterozygotes for Hq and T(7;X)Ct have produced the following chromosomally normal progeny: Hq femals, 24; Hq males, 14; + females, 6; + males, 6. This suggests a recombination frequency of 20-24% and places Hq either close to Bn or close to Gy. Hq males clearly have a reduced viability. Hq +/+ Bn females have to date produced 25 Hq males, 1 Bn male and no recombinants. It can be concluded that Hq is closely linked to Bn. (Cattanach). |
