| description | The aim of this work was to analyse the transcriptome of the mice cerebral cortex (or neocortex) during embryogenesis and at post-natal age. This complete transcriptomic analysis was dedicated to the analysis of the genes participating in the homeostasis of Zinc during brain development and formation. Our study represents a detailed analysis of transcriptomes during formation and dvelopment of the brain cortex, with biologic triplicates, generated by RNA-seq technology. This will provide a framework for comparative investigations of expression profiles. Our work offers an accurate quantitative and qualitative evaluation of mRNA content during mice embryogenesis. Total mRNA from cerebral cortices of C57Bl6/J mice were generated in triplicate. Tissues were collected at embryonic days 11 (E11), E13, E17 and on post-natal day 1 pups. |
