| description | The goal of the project was to delineate sex-specific differences in the neonatal lung exposed to postnatal hyperoxia to model the pathophysiologic mechanisms in the human disease; bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). C57BL6J neonatal mice were exposed to room air or hyperoxia from PND1-5 to 95% FiO2 or maintained in room air. Mice were euthanized at PND7. Single cell suspension were prepared for each of the four groups: male room air, female room air, male hyperoxia and female hyperoxia at the PND7 time point. Each sample was comprised of pooled lung tissue from three mice. |
