| description | The muscle peripheral clock selects, suppresses, and integrates signals from the central clock that serve muscle homeostasis, thus revealing its critical gatekeeper function. Four biological replicates (2 males and 2 females, if not otherwise specified) at each zeitgeber time (ZT) point were used to collect RNA samples from the snap-frozen tibialis anterior muscle. A total of 360 mouse RNA samples were sequenced to generate the circadian RNA transcriptome. Eight samples were excluded from analysis due to quality issues. |
