| description | Ageing is a physiological process that manifests through progressive molecular, cellular, and systemic changes. Female reproductive potential gradually declines with age as oocyte quality and quantity decline. The purpose of this study was to better understand the spatiotemporal dynamics of the ovary. The Visium Spatial Gene Expression technology from 10x Genomics was used to evaluate expression in ovary sections from young (3-4 months) and aged (15-16 months) mice. RNA was captured and sequenced from 4 capture areas, each containing 2 ovary sections (one young, one aged) for a total of 4 young and 4 aged samples. |
