| description | To investigate the impact of the reproductive cycle on adipose tissue, we analyzed transcriptome profiling across the entire estrous cycle in the adipose tissue of female mice. Twenty 8-week-old female C57BL/6 mice were used for the study. The stages of their estrous cycle (proestrus, estrus, metestrus, diestrus) were determined through vaginal smears and hormone level assessments. Inguinal subcutaneous fat was then collected for RNA extraction, library construction, and sequencing.
