We then performed gene expression analysis by RNAseq. We dissected the dLGN from three pools of three mutant mice each, and three pools of three control mice each, for both Sox2 and Nr2f1 mutants. RNA from snap-frozen dLGNs was extracted with the RNeasy Micro Kit (QIAGEN), as described in detail in the paper, and
