| abstractText | Full text of Mouse Genome contribution: Research News: 4. Linkage data for wa-15J and Ggc. As part of a study of non-allelic non-complementation of open-eyes mutants, we have checked the map position of wa-15J in relation to Ggc. The F2 from a cross between wa-15J Ggcb/wa-15J Ggcb and + Ggca/+ Ggca contained 28 waved and 74 normal mice. One of the waved mice was a recombinant (Ggc-ab); the rest were nonrecombinant (Ggc-bb). The distribution of the genotypes of the normal (+/+ and +/wa) mice for Ggc was: 27 aa, 44 ab, 3 bb. |
