| abstractText | MGI obtains mouse Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC) clone information from MGC, and associates these data with corresponding IMAGE cDNA clone records in MGI. The MGC Data Association Load uses IMAGE clone accession IDs shared between MGC input data and MGI cDNA clone records to associate MGC accession IDs and GenBank sequence IDs (in the MGC input files) with IMAGE clone records in MGI. Note that the load makes no attempt to associate GenBank sequences for MGC clones with MGI gene records.
