Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; integumental system; and sensory organ. Orthologous to human AFF4 (ALF transcription elongation factor 4). PHENOTYPE: Homozygous null mice display embryonic and neonatal lethality with incomplete penetrance, abnormal respiration, and shrunken alveoli.
