PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele exhibit delayed mammary gland development during puberty associated with slower ductal extension, reduced ductal branching and epithelial cell proliferation, disorganized myoepithelial and ductal epithelial cells, and increased collagen deposition.
