PHENOTYPE: Homozygous null mice exhibit hyperglycemia, impaired glucose tolerance, insulin resistance, gut dysmobility, gut barrier dysfunction, and colon inflammation. Mice homozygous for a reporter allele are viable with no observed pathologies. [provided by MGI curators]
