PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele exhibit hypochromic microcytic anemia and decreased B cell proliferation. Mice homozygous for a different allele exhibit male infertility associated with oligozoospermia and detachment of the head from flagellum. [provided by MGI curators]
