PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a null allele display increased hematopoitic cell numbers and proliferation, progressive increase in peripheral blood cells, decreased lifespans, splenomegaly, and increased sensitivity to radiation and chemical exposure. [provided by MGI curators]
