| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New mutants: 1. New A-alleles. 3 hitherto undescribed A-alleles have been recovered from radiation experiments; they are all recessive to A. (i) au = agouti-umbrous. Resembles As but does not crossover with A. auau = Dark agouti back and belly. Dark agouti pinna hairs. aua = Umbrous back, dark agouti belly, yellow pinna hairs. auat = umbrous back, tan belly, yellow pinna hairs. (ii) ada = non agouti with dark agouti belly. Adaada; adaa = non agouti or extreme umbrous back, dark agouti belly, yellow pinna hairs. (iii) al = non agouti lethal alal = not seen but presumably prenatal lethal; its interaction with Ay has not yet been tested. aal = normal aa (thus different from aax , which has a lighter belly than aa). aeal = normal aeae i.e. has black pinna hairs.
