| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 2. New Linkage: Satin (sa) and beige (bg) are linked. This constitutes a new linkage group, number XVIII. Intercross matings with markers in repulsion gave the following results: Sa-/-Bg, 686; sa-/sa-, 309; -bg/-bg, 312; sabg/sabg, 1. Of 48 single-mutant F2 animals tested, 8 have been found to carry single cross-overs. Indicated recombination frequency, about 9%. (St. Amand, Cupp) |
