| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: P.W. Lane. New allele: An allele (db2-J) of diabetes (db) occurred in an inbred brown (b) whirler (wi) stock in 1966. In F2 segregants from an outcross to C57BL/6J it was noted that the diabetic which 1073 offspring have been raised db2-J shows a recombination of 8.72 +/- 0.97% with b and 12.03 +/- 0.97% with wi, the order is db2-J - b - wi. This places the db locus very close to misty (m) in LG VIII. |
