| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: Research news: New mutants: c) A new recessive autosomal mutation closely resembling crinkled, cr, appeared in strain A/H. None of the first mutant animals lived beyond weaning due, it was discovered, to defects of the incisors. Since being fed on a wet mash diet mutant animals have reached maturity and been proved fertile. A cross between a homozygous mutant and a cr cr mouse produced 5 normal-coated offspring indicating that the mutant is not at the crinkled locus, and since it is autosomal it is not allelic with Ta, sf or spf.
