| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: LINKAGE DATA: Creeper-cpr (see MNL #69-Duke) has been found to be allelic with ho4J. The symbol for this mutant should be changed to hocpr. Hocpr/Hocpr males on an B10.D2 (R106) inbred or (BALB/c x R106) outcross background have never bred; however hocpr/ho4J males [(BALB/c x R106) x DBA/2J-ho4J] did breed. Of 24 progeny of a hocpr/hocpr x ho4J/+ cross, 16 (.667) were hocpr/ho4J and 8 (.333) were hocpr/+. In the F2 of 125 mice, 28 (.224) were hocpr/hocpr, 86 (.688) were hocpr/ho4J, and 11 (.088) were ho4J/ho4J by behavioral phenotype. This stock is being discontinued. (S. Whitmore). |
