| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New Mutations: A new recessive mutation has been isolated from the phocomelic (pc) stock. Cataract appears in young adult mice at about 2-3 months of age. It is under study in the Bureau of Radiological Health of the U.S. Public Health Service under Dr. Sterling J. Haight. The provisional gene symbol act (adult cataract) is suggested for this mutation. The "neurological" mutation reported in MNL 41 has been given the provisional gene symbol fp (flopsy). |
