| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New Mutants and Biochemical Variants: 1. Retarded hair growth (rhg). This new recessive mutation was found in strain AKR/J in 1974. At birth affected animals are smaller than their normal littermates. Hair development is noticeably retarded at 3 weeks of age. By 10 weeks hair development is similar to that of normals. This mutant is not allelic with hr or nu. Linkage tests with Id-1, Cs, Car-1, Pgm-1, Gus, Mpi-l, Mod-1, Amy-1, Np-1, Gdc-1, Ce-2, and Got-1 were negative. (Fox, S. and Eicher) |
