| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 1. New mutants and linkages. a. Tilted (tlt). This recessive mutation arose in a p<6H>/p<d >stock. Homozygotes cannot swim, often hold the head in a tilted position, seem to be deaf and tuck the head toward the belly when picked up by the tail. Both sexes breed. The mutation is located on Chr 5. A coupling backcross with W<v> has produced 56 W<v>+, 10 ++, 9 W<v> tlt, 52 + tlt (total 127) for an RF of 15 +/- 3.1%. A three point cross with Hm is in progress. (Lane). |
