| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: New mutant: "Marcel" (mc) is a new recessive mutation from the C57BL/10S inbred colony. The homozygote shows a pronounced series of hair waves at 14-21 days. Female homozygotes are sterile. Crosses with we, wa-1, wa-2 have ruled out identity with these three recessives. Outcrossing mc homozygotes with C3H and classifying subsequent F2 offspring for agouti (a) and mc yielded a 9:3:3:1 ratio. (Elizabeth Foerster) |
