| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: 2. Froggy (fg) a recessive mutation first described in MNL 40:30 appears to be a new muscular dystrophy. Histological sections of skeletal muscle show much the same changes that are seen in dystrophia muscularis (dy). To date an allele test with dy<2J> (dy<2J>/dy<2J> x fg/+) has produced 11 normal offspring. Since a mvopathv is apparently responsible for the clinical symptoms we would like to change the name to myodystrophy (myd). The symbol fg is withdrawn. (Lane) |
