Completely recessive. Viability of homozygotes poor, particularly prior to weaning age. Males sterile, females occasionally fertile. fl fl newborns are sometimes smaller than littermates at birth and usually smaller at weaning. The ulna and radius both bend sharply outward near the wrist. The abnormality is recognizable from birth. Hind limbs are normal. (Kelly) |
