| abstractText | Full text of MNL contribution: B. Research News: 2. The sex-linked mutant Ym, yellow mottled, is closely linked to Blo. The cross Ym+/+ Blo female x ++/< male yielded 6 wild type males (including one possible mosaic) and 222 Blo/<, a recombination frequency of 2.6%. Based on total progeny (both sexes) of 670, recombination frequency is 1.2%, which is probably an underestimate due to the fact that the recombinant YmBlo/++ class may not be distinguishable.
