Northern blot analysis demonstrated enrichment of gene expression in the cortex and hippocampus of transgenic animals and Western blot analysis demonstrated 2X protein over-expression compared to wild-type animals. Furthermore, in situ hybridization showed enrichment of the transgene in the cortex, striatum, hippocampus, and amydala. A slight increase in expression of Grin1 protein was also detected. |
