molecularNote  The transgene consists of a mouse prion promoter and a cDNA encoding wild-type human presenilin 1. Transgene expression was verified by Northern and Western blot analysis of brain extracts derived from transgenic animals. Lines S8-4, R8-1, H8-4, and B8-1 were generated.
