| molecularNote | This allele has a deletion of approximately 4.6 kb in the Imu-Cmu intron. Cre-mediated recombination removed a floxed neo inserted in the intron, leaving a loxp sequence. Homozygous mutants displayed a 5- to 20-fold decrease in surface expression of IgG1, IgG3 and IgA, and a 2- to 5- fold decrease in IgG2b and IgG2a as compared to wild-type. No alteration was found in IgM expression. |
